Summer Camp
Starshine camp activities blend nature, imagination, leadership, and performance. Choose from three camp themes: Imagineers, Wild Warriors, or Circus Performers. Kids go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, create fun characters, build fairy houses, wear costumes, play games, go on quests, shoot arrows, and more!
Mini Camp
Starshine offers private outdoor adventures for kids at The Suttle Lodge, Lake Creek Lodge, and House on Metolius. Starshine Mini Camp blends nature, imagination, and performance. Kids ages 0+ go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, create their own nature-inspired performances, splash and dig, build fairy houses, forts and more, while the adults get deep in vacation mode!
Birthday Parties
Want to celebrate your child's birthday with less work and more fun? Choose Starshine to create a magical, fun, and sparkly birthday party for your birthday kid of any age! Choose the beautiful setting of Suttle Lodge or your preferred event location. Activities are tailored to the party theme or birthday kid's interests. Starshine will lead group games and activities that will feature play, imagination, dance, and music that are inclusive of all party guests, while specially celebrating the birthday kid.
After School Theater Troupes
Starshine After School Theater Troupes encourage creativity, self-confidence, emotional intelligence and and just plain fun for kids! Kids learn and hone theater skills, like movement, voice, character building, focus and concentration, as well as sensory and emotional awareness. The Performance Troupe performs a one-act scripted play for their community in Sisters best small performance venue, The Belfry.
Wedding Childcare
Starshine offers premium childcare during large events and wedding festivities, brightening them for kids and their families. Kids play games, dress up, make crafts, go on treasure hunts, perform magic tricks, listen to stories, sing songs, and when needed are tucked into bed so adults can fully enjoy the event experience. Starshine will create a custom experience based on your needs. We carefully craft activities for any group and number of kiddos ages 0+. We provide a screen-free, outdoor (when possible), and unique experience for kiddos. Starshine will travel to most venues in Central Oregon.
Community Event Childcare
Starshine offers premium childcare during events organized by community organizations. Kids play games, dress up, make crafts, go on treasure hunts, perform magic tricks, listen to stories, and play games. Starshine creates a custom experience based on the organization's needs. We carefully craft activities for any group and number of kiddos ages 0+. Starshine will travel to most venues in Central Oregon.
Stargazing Tours
Enjoy the brilliance of Central Oregon's incredible night sky together with a local naturalist and educator. You'll hear an ancient story about the stars, locate constellations, and see visible planets, the moon, and other astronomical objects through a 6" telescope. We have a kids-sized scope and binoculars for you to borrow too! Each group will receive and learn how to use a sky map, specialized to the month of viewing. Tours begin about a half hour after sunset and last approximately one hour. You'll learn about and experience our incredible universe, all in the gorgeous setting of Central Oregon!
Private and group tours available for guests at Black Butte Ranch and House on Metolius, and The Suttle Lodge.
