Summer Camp
Starshine camps blend nature, imagination, leadership, and performance activities. Kids go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, create fun characters, build fairy houses, wear costumes, play games, go on quests, shoot arrows, paddle boats, and more! Camps for kids entering preschool through sixth grade.
Theater for Kids
Starshine's theater programs encourage creativity, self-confidence, emotional intelligence and and just plain fun for kids! Kids learn and hone theater skills, like movement, voice, character building, focus and concentration, as well as sensory and emotional awareness. All kids perform for an audience.
Stargazing Tours
Starshine offers stargazing tour in a variety of gorgeous settings in Central Oregon. Our guests can marvel at our incredible universe and take in the brilliance of Central Oregon’s night sky while locating constellations, observing visible planets, the moon, and other celestial objects, and listening to ancient stories about the stars. Guest are invited to stay after the one-hour tour to get a glimpse into the deep sky through a telescope.
Mini Camp
(aka adventure babysitting)
Starshine offers private outdoor adventures for kids at The Suttle Lodge, Lake Creek Lodge, and House on Metolius. Starshine Mini Camp blends nature, imagination, and play. Kids ages 0+ go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, explore, splash and dig, build fairy houses, forts and more, while the adults get deep in vacation mode!
Wedding Childcare
Starshine offers premium childcare and kids activities during large events and wedding festivities, brightening them for kids and their families. Starshine will create a custom experience based on your needs. We carefully craft activities for any group and number of kiddos ages 0+. Starshine will travel to most venues in Central Oregon.
Community Event Childcare
Starshine offers premium childcare during events organized by community organizations. Starshine creates a custom experience based on the organization's needs. We carefully craft activities for any group and number of kiddos ages 0+. Starshine will travel to most venues in Central Oregon.
