Kids Theater in Sisters

Starshine started with a passion for bringing the magic of theatrical performance to kids through theater camps back in 2019. Starshine has expanded its offerings to include afterschool programs for elementary and middle school kids. 

​​​Outlaw Theater Club​​

Sisters Middle School is partnering with Starshine to host the Outlaw Theater Club for grades 6-8. Kids will perform in a play with meaningful roles for every kid!

​​​Skillz Troupe​​

Scholarships Available!

One hour of silly fun where K-1st graders will learn basic theater skills including movement, voice, character building, focus and concentration, as well as sensory and emotional awareness. 

Mondays Jan 4 - March 8 3:30 - 4:10 | The Belfry

Performance Troupes​​

Kids in grades 2-6 learn and hone theater skills, then apply them to create a one-act scripted play. 

Mondays Jan 4 - March 8; Performance March 9 | The Belfry

2nd-3rd Performance Troupe I 4:15-5:25

3rd-6th Performance Troupe II 5:30-7:00

Starshine donates 5% of every booking to our scholarship fund, and we invite others to donate to it as well. Being inclusive is very important to us and we try our best not to turn away anyone due to lack of funds! More about scholarships.

Sisters School District students in grades 6+ can apply for scholarships through the Roundhouse Foundation.

Black Butte School students may apply for a scholarship. Email Kassie at kdemarsh@blackbutte.k12.or.us

Cancellation Policies

  • 24 hour "oops" policy allows for full refund within 24 hours of booking​​​​​​​

  • Cancellation prior to 90 days before a program begins, 65% of tuition is refundable

  • Cancellation prior to 60 days before a program begins, 35% of tuition is refundable

  • Cancellation within 30 days of the start of a program, no tuition is refundable

  • Rebooking after cancellation within 30 days of the start of a program receives %50 off

  • If Starshine cancels before the start of a program session due to weather, AQI, health orders, or civic mandates, you receive a 100% credit for another Starshine program in the next 12 months, or a 35% refund. 

  • If Starshine cancels before the start of program for any other reason, you receive a 100% refund paid to the original payment method, or credit for another Starshine program in the next 12 months. 

  • If Starshine cancels after the start of a program for any reason NOT due to weather, AQI, health orders, or civic mandates, you receive a pro-rated 100% refund.
