Scholarships Now Available!

Thanks to funding provided by generous donors, including Sisters Community Foundation, Starshine is able to provide scholarships. These funds are limited and available on a case by case basis. Scholarships are awarded at approximately 90%, 50%, and 25% of booking fees.

How to Apply

1) Register online for the programs you'd like your kiddo to attend. Click "pay in person at the time of session" to register without a required payment. (summer camp booking links) (theater booking links)

2) Complete application (Theater Scholarship Form) (Summer Camp Scholarship Form) and email to jennie@starshine-theater.com, text an image to 541-645-0688 or mail to the address below. 

Once your application is received, it will be reviewed and you'll be informed of the scholarship amount awarded and remaining balance. Your spot will not be secured until your balance is paid. To pay your balance, Venmo to @starshine-theater, request an invoice to pay via credit card, or send a check to PO BOX 61 Camp Sherman, OR 97730.

Please note that each kiddo is eligible for one scholarship per calendar year.

Theater in Sisters

Starshine started with a passion for bringing the magic of theatrical performance to kids through theater camps back in 2019. Now, Starshine has expanded its offerings to include afterschool programs for elementary and middle school kids. 

​​Outlaw Theater Club

Sisters Middle School is partnering with Starshine to host the Outlaw Theater Club for grades 6-8.

Fridays 1:15-3:00 | Sisters Middle School Drama Room

​​Starshine Skillz Troupe

One hour of silly fun where K-2nd graders will learn basic theater skills: movement, voice, character building, focus and concentration, as well as sensory and emotional awareness. 

most Tuesdays in January - March 4:00-4:55 | The Belfry

​​Starshine Performance Troupe

Kids in grades 3-7 learn and hone theater skills, then apply them to create a one-act scripted play.
