How to Book
Details
We will meet at the Lakeside Activity Center, then go on an out-and-back trail that explores the edge of the Big Meadow, to the west of the lake, and alongside the creek that has spectacular views of Black Butte and the Cascade Mountain Range (see map below). Guided hikes are up to two hours long (2-3 miles, depending on the speed and desire of the group). Hikes will run rain, shine, or snow.

Your requested booking will remain pending for 24 hours after communication from Starshine confirming your requested program. To confirm your booking:
1. Pay deposit (half of total cost) with Venmo (@starshine-theater) or request an invoice for credit card
3. Complete liability waiver and email to: jennie@starshine-theater.com
You'll pay the remainder of the program cost after the completion of the program.
Cost
Starts at $120 per group of 1-4. Additional adults cost $25. Additional kids cost $20.

Bookings canceled more than 30 days in advance will receive full refund. Cancellations within 30 days, the deposit is non-refundable.
Stargazing Tours
in the Big Meadow
Join Starshine to marvel at our incredible universe in the gorgeous setting of Black Butte Ranch, in Sisters, Oregon! You'll take in the brilliance of Central Oregon's vast night sky while locating constellations, observing visible planets, the moon, and other celestial objects, and listening to ancient stories about the stars.
Tours begin about 30 minutes after sunset. Stay after the one-hour tour to get a glimpse into the deep sky through a telescope that magnifies the naked eye by 350. Each group receives a sky map, specialized to the month of viewing and binoculars to borrow.
