Stargazing programs for the whole family also available. Request to book anytime!
"We booked a half day with Jennie for our group of four and six year old kids at Suttle Lake. They all had a great time and we all got to do some adulting in the lake- the best part of the weekend! Thanks Jennie!"
Kids will get wild with the Suttle Lake's wildlife as they learn about and perform as animals. They'll go on a wildlife scavenger hunt, catch bugs, learn animal language, identify birds and bird calls, and listen to animal stories. They'll also explore camouflage, stalking, and tracking.
Deschutes & Dragons
Kids will go on a whimsical quest with the spirit of fantasy, dreams, and fairy tales. They'll build fairy castles and gnome homes, play in a secret fort, imagine and perform as characters from nature, and more!
Suttle Under the Stars
Kids will experience Suttle Lake in a different light as they adventure outside at dusk to explore, sing silly songs, play ridiculous games. They might go on a no-light night hike, play nocturnal animal games, enjoy a campfire (regulations permitting), and stargaze.
Kids and families will enjoy the brilliance of Suttle Lake's incredible night sky. They'll listen to an ancient story about the stars, look at the moon through binoculars, find constellations, and look at planets through a 70mm beginners telescope (100 x's the human eye).
"Jennie was awesome and stargazing was a highlight of our vacation. She tailored the experience and kept my 3 and 5 year olds engaged. They sat still for 1 hour (!) learning about the stars. Now they repeat facts about black holes, the Milky Way and red giants. My husband and I loved it too."
