"It was fascinating looking at the stars and learning about them, the constellations, and planets. I liked having the sky chart and learning how to use it--very cool! Now I have developed a better informed appreciation for the dark night sky." ~Jana (2022)

Join Starshine for a one-hour Stargazing Tour, during which you'll enjoy the brilliance of Central Oregon's incredible night sky together with a guide. You'll hear an ancient story about the stars, locate constellations, and see visible planets, the moon, and other astronomical objectsEach group will receive and learn how to use a sky map, specialized to the month of viewing.

Stay after the tour for a glimpse into the deep sky through telescopes shared by Sisters Astronomy Club volunteers and Starshine.

If this event cancels due to weather it will be rescheduled to Thursday September 25th at 7:30pm.

"Fabulous, intimate evening with the stars. Educational, cosmic, and rejuvenating to lie on blankets in the grass with other stargazers and look up at the sky together." ~Jennifer, 2024
