The whole family can enjoy a guided tour Central Oregon's amazing night sky. The dark skies allow for so many stars, planets, and even some galaxies to be visible to the naked eye. You'll learn about stars, planets, the moon, contestations, and listen to an ancient story about the night sky. You'll be able to look at stars, visible planets, and other unique objects through binoculars and a 70mm beginners telescope (100 x's the human eye). Each participant will receive a custom sky map for the date/time of the program. Please bring a flashlight (preferably one with a red light), warm layers, and something comfortable to lay on. The program starts a half hour after sunset. Cost: 1-4 people $125; additional adults $20, kids $15 Cancellation Policy: To book you'll pay half the total program fee up front (including a $40 non-refundable deposit to save the date). Then you'll pay the remainder at the time of the program. If the program cancels due to weather, you'll receive a refund of any payments minus the $40 deposit. If Starshine cancels for any other reason, you'll receive a full refund.
