"What an incredible experience! My daughter was so excited to arrive every morning to play, pretend, and explore. They learned magic tricks, circus acts, joke telling, acting, and put on an adorable circus show at the end of the 5 days. Thank you to Jennie for providing a space to build creativity, imagination, self-expression, and confidence! We will definitely be back next year!" ~ Amanda 2022
Starshine Imagineers Camp
New in 2023, Starshine Imagineers Camp combines nature, imagination, and play! Kids will dive deep into their imaginations as they "become" wild animals, fairies, wizards, pirates, and more. They'll go on treasure hunts, catch bugs, build forts, perform magic tricks, and more! Each day kids will have "lake time" where they'll splash in the lake (only up to their knees, no swimming).
Day One: Team Building We'll get to know each other by solving challenges and playing games
Day Two: We Are Animals We'll learn about the local wildlife, catch bugs, and play fun animal games
Day Three: Pirates We'll become pirates as we search for clues to the "treasure," tie knots, and sing shanties
Day Four: Fairies & Gnomes With our imaginations, we'll commune with magic woodland creatures
Day Five: Witches & Wizards We'll cast spells, make wands and potions, and learn a bit of magic
"Starshine was my kids’ sixth camp of the summer and they said it was their favorite one! What a perfect spot for kids to play and Jennie does such a great job with all the kid-energy!" ~ Emily 2022
Starshine Circus Camp
Starshine Circus Camp activities blend nature, imagination, and performance. Kids will go on scavenger hunts, catch bugs, create fun characters, build fairy houses, listen to and tell stories, play games and more! Campers will create a "Suttle Circus," learning different circus acts during the week, like joke-telling, juggling, magic tricks, clowning, hoola-hooping, and imaginary menagerie! Each day kids will have "lake time" where they'll splash in the lake (only up to their knees, no swimming). At the end of each camp day (except Monday) parents are invited to watch mini circus performances as the kids practice their new skills. On the last day of camp, kids will put on their very own Starshine Circus!
New in 2023 is a session just for older kids, ages 8-13!
Day One: Team Building We'll get to know each other by solving challenges and playing games
Day Two: Comedy We'll laugh together as we tell jokes and clown around
Day Three: We Are Animals We'll catch bugs, play fun animal games, and create an imaginary menagerie
Day Four: Mountain Magic We'll commune with magic forest creatures and learn magic tricks
Day Five: Starshine Circus Kids will learn circus tricks like juggling and hoola hoops and perform their own circus!

"My son and nephew loved this camp! It was just the right combination of open-ended imaginative free play and structured activities. The kids build confidence throughout the week as they explore performing arts in a safe environment. With magic, jokes, and music, they get silly on stage and have so much fun. Jennie is great to work with and makes all the kids feel comfortable. The outdoor setting at Suttle Lake is the cherry on top!
Highly recommend. !" ~ Molly 2022
