Mini Day Camp at Lake Creek Lodge

Service Description

Join Starshine for a three hour program for kids 0+ between the hours of 9 AM and 6PM. 1-2 kids starts at $120. Add $20 per extra child or for children ages 3 and under. Pick from the following themes to tailor the program to your children's interests: Otter Playtime Kids will get wild with wildlife at Lake Creek as they learn about and perform as animals. They'll search for sign of the resident otters, go on a wildlife scavenger hunt, catch bugs, learn animal language, identify birds and bird calls, and listen to animal stories. They'll also explore camouflage, stalking, tracking, and shelter building. Imagine on the Metolius Kids will go on a whimsical quest with the spirit of fantasy, dreams, and fairy tales. They'll build fairy castles and gnome homes, imagine and perform as characters from nature, build a fort, and more! Creativity on the Creek Kids will attune to the calming waters of Lake Creek as they learn, listen to, reflect, and revel in our environment's science, beauty, and history. They will learn about the unique science and natural history of Lake Creek. Then they'll artistically express the ecology and beauty of this unique waterway. Choose an artistic medium to explore with ahead of time: photography, sketching, journaling, music, poetry, or short stories. Play ball! Kids will play some of the fun games that Lake Creek Lodge has to offer: tennis, ping pong, soccer, football, lawn games. Lake Creek Circus Kids will get silly as they clown around at Lake Creek. They'll tell jokes, juggle, hoola hoop, and learn about to miming and clowning. They might even create and perform their own circus act!
